Starting to live on my own had been stressful. I wanted to depict the anxiety and fear I felt as I am pushing forward. For this piece I used scrabbled lines and very unnatural, highly saturated neon color. strong flashlight like lighting to simulate the feeling of anxiety.

My exploration on pixel art. I tried to depict an abandoned entrance of a tomb, maybe it’s the beginning of an adventure.
Soft Universe
Inspired by the song “Soft Universe “by Aurora. I tried to recreate the feelings I felt while listening to the song. I also took it as a chance to explore different texture of gemstones.
Take a Rest
As I grow older, I occasionally feel powerless in life. Sometimes, I feel utterly exhausted, wanting to abandon everything in my hands, lie on the ground, and do nothing. I wanted to capture this impulse.
Escape
Sometimes, I would escape from my work for a while. I would find a park in the night and just space out on a swing, and I would feel that I’m free from the gravity. This work is to portrait my feeling.

A portrait of Satoshi Kon, one of my favorite animation directors. For this portrait, I recreated the 90s old anime style and texture from Satoshi’s work, The composition was a play on my favorite scene in Perfect Blue
